Today is actually Thanksgiving at my house. Not because I'm part of some weird American history revisionist group, but, out of convenience. Everyone's schedule's, especially considering the whole blended family issue, pointed toward Wednesday rather than Thursday being the ideal day to celebrate, feast, and, hopefully, reflect.
So, in a few minutes, I'll start baking my world famous chocolate cake (not exactly my recipe, but that's just between us), bread, and maybe cookies. I'll go buy flowers, do a few handstands(yoga class), and prepare the remainder of tonight's meal. Along the way, I hope to think about how lucky I am and how grateful I am for everything and everyone in my life.
Especially you guys. You all support my work, encourage my efforts, and inspire me.
